In person and telehealth

Tahlia is the kind of psychologist who gets genuinely fascinated by how humans work.

Gentle, thoughtful, and deeply curious, she has a knack for noticing the patterns between mind, body, stress, life circumstances, and the systems we’re all trying to navigate. She’s the sort of person who lights up when something suddenly makes sense — the puzzle piece drops in and the whole picture shifts.

Tahlia works with people who are:

  • Living with chronic health conditions and trying to make life feel bigger than their symptoms

  • Dealing with pain, fatigue, hormonal shifts, sleep struggles, or bodies that behave a little unpredictably

  • Trying to adjust to a health diagnosis that has quietly rearranged their life

  • Feeling frustrated, griefy, or just plain tired of fighting their body all the time

  • Wondering how to live well alongside a body that doesn’t always follow the rules

Fully registered and trained in health psychology, Tahlia brings experience from rehabilitation services, public health, and hospital outpatient care - places where you quickly learn that health never sits neatly in one box.

She has a particular interest in the mind - body loops that can keep symptoms hanging around longer than anyone would like - things like pain, fatigue, stress responses, sleep disruption, and hormonal or metabolic shifts. The stuff where biology and psychology quietly hold hands.

She draws from a range of evidence-based approaches, but therapy with Tahlia never feels like a lecture. It’s more like sitting down with someone who’s genuinely interested in understanding how your particular system works - and figuring out what might help it settle, shift, or soften.

How she works

Tahlia isn’t here to hand your nervous system a checklist and wish it luck.

She works from a health psychology lens that looks at the whole ecosystem — brain, body, stress, sleep, hormones, life circumstances — and the sometimes chaotic conversations happening between them.

Expect:

  • Thoughtful curiosity instead of rushed answers

  • Science that’s actually explained like a human conversation

  • A therapist who gets a little excited when a new piece of the puzzle makes sense

  • Collaborative sessions where your lived experience matters more than tidy theories

  • Someone who is genuinely fascinated by how your mind and body work together

  • Tahlia is particularly brilliant with people who feel confused by their symptoms, worn out by their health journey, or worried they’re somehow “failing” at coping.

(You’re not. Bodies are just complicated.)

Gentle curiosity. Calm presence.

The kind of therapist who gets excited about a new research paper.

Quietly delighted by how weird and wonderful humans are.

Will absolutely pause mid-sentence because a thought just clicked and now she wants to explore it.

Big learner energy.

Soft voice. Very thoughtful brain.

Probably has a book open somewhere.
