Pronouns: They/she
Jacqui is the kind of psychologist who feels steady to sit with.
Warm, grounded, and deeply present, they bring a sense of calm to the room - the kind that doesn’t rush you, fix you, or expect you to have it all figured out. they’re there with you, properly.
Jacqui works with people who are:
Navigating eating disorders, body image struggles, or complicated relationships with food
Living with neurodivergence, especially when it’s been recognised later in life
Carrying trauma - the loud kind, the quiet kind, and everything in between
Holding experiences of racism, cultural complexity, or feeling like you exist across multiple worlds
Exploring gender, sexuality, identity, and the parts of you that may not have always felt safe to be seen
Supporting a loved one with an eating disorder and trying to stay afloat yourself
Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, mood changes, or the weight of everything they’re carrying
Jacqui's approach is deeply trauma-informed, neuroaffirming, and inclusive of First Nations, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ communities - not just in words, but in how she shows up. She draws from a range of therapeutic approaches, but therapy with Jacqui is never about fitting you into a model. It’s about understanding you.
How she works
Jacqui isn’t here to analyse you from a distance or hand you a neat set of strategies and send you on your way.
They work in a way that is relational, flexible, and deeply human — meeting you where you are, not where you “should” be.
Expect:
A space that feels steady, not rushed
Zero judgement — especially around the things you’ve been carrying quietly.
A therapist who understands both clinically and personally how complex things like eating disorders and neurodivergence in a predominantly neurotypical world can be.
Gentle guidance that respects your pace (even when things feel stuck or messy).
Someone who will sit with you in the hard moments, not try to tidy them up too quickly.
Jacqui is particularly supportive for people who feel overwhelmed, unsure where to start, or worried they might be “too much” or “not enough” at the same time.
(You’re neither. You’re human.)
Vibe
Warmth you can lean into. Steady ground.
The kind of therapist who doesn’t flinch when things get hard.
Holds space without rushing to fill it.
Gentle, but not passive — she’s right there with you.
Feels like someone who can sit with the hard stuff and not look away.
Quietly strong. Deeply human. In your corner.
